Cabinet/Council of Ministers Decision 13. Capsizing of Boat in Upper Kolab Reservoir on 7.2.2003 - Inquiry Report of R.D.C., (Southern Division) Berhampur. While considering the recommendations of R.D.C. (S.D.), Berhampur, the Cabinet observed as follows : A Committee under the Chairmanship of Development Commissioner-cum-Addl. Chief Secretary and consisting of Secretary, Revenue, Secretary, Commerce & Transport and Secretary, Panchayati Raj as Members, would go into the issues of implementing the Boat Rules as well as auction of ghats and related issues with the objective of ensuring safe ferrying of passengers across the rivers. The Committee will give its report within one month.
