Cabinet/Council of Ministers Decision Dates 6.Allotment of land in favour of Dr. Tara Prasad Das for establishment of Bhubaneswar Eye Research Institute(BERI). Approved. Dr. Tara Prasad Das, MD, L.V. Prasad Eye Research Institute, Hyderabad has requested for allotment of Ac.10.000 of land in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar for establishment of Bhubaneswar Eye Research Institute. The Cabinet approved the proposal subject to the following modifications. (a) The land will be allotted at 80% concession on premium value of the land. (b) The Institute would provide free treatment to 25% poor and non-paying patients out of the total number of patients. (c) The construction should start within one year failing which the land would be resumed.
